Charles is a Registered Architect, he is the office’s Senior Project Architect and an important member of the MHDP Management Team.  Charles is responsible for maintaining staff project/production experience.

With a strong interest in sustainability and environmental design Charles is constantly researching material and construction methodology at the forefront of sustainable design.

Charles is an excellent team leader and he is very efficient at utilising office resources and Associates to deliver consistent and valuable outcomes for clients at each stage of architectural process.  Charles is also responsible for maintaining and updating MHDP’s cost planning data base which enables the Company to very efficiently provide realistic and achievable project cost plans.

Charles joined the Practice in 2013 and has been Project Architect on a wide range of projects including Panorama Subdivision and development of four dwellings, Renwick Community Centre and Fairlight four townhouse development.

Charles is fluent in Mandarin and allows the Practice to work with Mandarin speaking clients. 

Charles is a passionate advocate for sustainable design and he conducts talks and workshops on topics to advocate for better lifestyle choices such as plastic free living, passive energy architecture and bamboo products.  He has built his own bamboo bicycle.

Charles is also interested in real estate and has an understanding of the market and property potential.
